The JobTread dashboard
Every SwagerBuilds project runs on JobTread. You get your own login. From it you see: every scheduled item, every completed task, every dollar spent, every change order, every daily log with photos from the jobsite, every subcontractor invoice, every material delivery. If you want to know what happened on the site today, you log in and you look. No email chain. No text tag. No calling the builder to ask.
Daily photo logs
Every workday the site gets photographed and the photos get uploaded to your JobTread project. Progress shots. Detail shots. Framing details. Rough-in details. Anything a superintendent walking the site would document, you see the same day.
Weekly video walkthroughs
Once a week you get a 5-10 minute video from me walking the entire site. Every trade, every progress point, every decision I want you to make. You watch it on your commute or over coffee on Saturday. If you have questions, you text me back and we discuss.
On-demand FaceTime tours
Any time you want a live look, we FaceTime from the jobsite. I walk you through anything you want to see. Two minutes or an hour — doesn’t matter. This works for material selections, finish sign-offs, punch list walks, or just checking in.
How Communication Works
Weekly call, scheduled
Every project has a standing weekly call — usually 30 minutes, same day and time every week. We cover schedule, budget, decisions coming up, and anything you want to raise. Missed one? The next one covers it. The rhythm keeps everyone honest.
One point of contact — the owner
You talk to me, Bryce, not a project coordinator or an admin. I run the build. I answer the phone. I sign the change orders. That doesn’t change because you live elsewhere.
Written change orders, always
Any change to the scope — up or down — gets a written change order in JobTread with the cost, the schedule impact, and the reason. You approve or reject it before a dollar moves. No verbal approvals. No “we’ll figure it out later.”

The daily logs, the weekly videos, the FaceTime tours, the JobTread dashboard — all included in every fixed-price contract.
The reason: transparency is the only real defense against cost-plus creep, schedule slippage, and builder mistakes. I built this process because it’s the only way I want to run projects. That it happens to be exactly what a remote owner needs is why I put SwagerBuilds in front of remote owners.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to visit the site at all?
No. Some clients visit once for a rough framing walk and once for the final punch. Some don’t visit at all until move-in. Some visit every other month. It’s your call. The process runs the same either way.
What if I want to change something during the build?
You raise it on the weekly call or in JobTread. If it’s a scope change, I write a change order with cost and schedule impact, you approve or reject in JobTread, and we proceed. No verbal approvals ever.
How do you handle finish selections when I can’t be there to touch samples?
Two ways. I ship you material samples via FedEx (tile, hardware, stone, cabinet doors, etc.) or I FaceTime you from the showroom and walk you through options. Most remote clients do a mix of both.
Do you build outside Teton Valley and Jackson?
Yes. Our full service area is Eastern Idaho (Rigby, Idaho Falls, Rexburg, Ammon, Iona), Teton Valley (Driggs, Victor, Tetonia, Felt), Alta WY, and Jackson Hole (Jackson, Wilson, Teton Village).
